Question:

 

 

If I feel/see wetness during arousal, however i still doubt whether the wetness is mazi or sweat/istinjah water etc, is it okay if i ignore this doubt and just continue doing wudu and praying as usual?

Answer:

 

 

Wa alaykum Assalaam

 

 

If you feel wetness during arousal, there is a strong probability that the liquid you feel inside your pants is Madhi (preseminal fluid). You should check your pants to determine what the liquid is.

 

 

If your private part is leaking then clearly you have ejaculated madhi. Or if you see fluid drops inside your pants, and if the fluid that you see is viscous (thick and sticky), then it is madhi. In that case, wash away the Madhi from your pants and your private part before your next wudu.

 

 

Even if you are not sure what the liquid is, it is better to wash it off as a precaution since your arousal would have likely caused leakage of Madhi. But if you are relatively certain that the liquid is sweat/water, or if your pants are dry, or you are sure you have not leaked Madhi from your private part, then you do not need to wash it off.
