Question:

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah

Can a woman get eyelash extensions if it is not water-resistant? Would water still be able to touch the skin of eyelids and lashes?

Answer:

Assalamualaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakaatuh

One of the conditions of a valid wuḍū’ is that water must unrestrictedly touch all parts of the face; from our knowledge, eyelash extensions will hinder water reaching that part of the skin, hence wudū’ whilst wearing them will not be permissible.
