Question:

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah

A person used multiple wet wipes to clean a car seat which had blood on it until the wipes no longer stained red. Does this make the seat pure?

Answer:

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Assalamualaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakaatuh

All pure liquids that can remove filth, stains, and impurity from an object can be used. These can be like water, rose water, carbonated water, soapy water etc. Any of these can be used to purify objects and remove the traces of filth.

In the same manner, any object that contains these liquid substances can be used to clean, just like a wet cloth or in this case we wipe. In addition to that, the general rule for any object that has visible impurity on it like stained blood will be considered pure one there is no trace of impurity even is wiped only once.

Thus in the wet wipes have sufficiently removed the red-stained the seat will be considered pure.
