Question

Assalamualaikum

I have some big problems with my father if its halal or haram about renting some space to ATM "machines". If it's possible could you please clarify better why the income is permissible?

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful 

Answer:

ATM is not usury generating. They merely supply money to those who require it and they sometimes take a nominal fee for supplying the service. Neither renting out an allotted space for an ATM machine or charging for the service of supplying cash on demand like a cash point does is impermissible.
