Question
There is a girl who got her haidh when she was is medina and now she will go to Makkah for the second time after doing her first umrah, but she will still be a
haaidha, so What is the ruling for her?
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيْم
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Answer:
The holy lands are very sacred to visit. May Allah take us again and again. The ruling regarding travelling to umrah whilst in the state of menstrual is as follows, the miqaat cannot be crossed without ihram. Menstruation is not a barrier to put ihram on. What will be prohibited is to enter the haram until menstruation is over.
The prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said to Abu Bakr to tell Asma bint Umais, after she gave birth to a child, to perform ghusl and put her ihram on.1
