Question

Assalmu alaikum wa rahamatullahi wabarakatahu.

Can you please tell me in which Salah time can I offer Salatul shukriya namaz? Or which is the proper time to offer Salatul Shukriya namaz?

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيْم

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

It will be permissible for you to pray any time of the day except makrooh and impermissible timings.[1]

Impermissible timings:

1) Sunrise

2) Sunset

3) Zawal (istiwa), when the sun is at its zenith.

Makrooh timings:

1) To pray any voluntary prayer after the  Fajr salah till sunrise.

2) To pray any voluntary prayer after fardh of Asr salah till sunset.[2]
