Question:

What is the importance of Surah Al-Wakiah?

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

The Messenger of Allah S.A.W said, “Whoever recites Surah al-Waqiah every night, he will never be afflicted by poverty. [1]

Surah Waqiah is also one of the surahs that highlight the condition the believers and non-believers will be in on the day of judgement. It is a reminder for all of us to be fearful of the punishment of Allah S.W.T and to be hopeful for his reward and is a reminder for us to stay on the right path.
