Question:

After the durood, I began to recite dua e qunoot by mistake instead of my normal dua. I then started reciting the dua I normally recite halfway through the qunoot. Does this invalidate my salah? Jazak Allah Khair.

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

After Tashahhud, any such Du’aa can be read that has been mentioned in Qur’an or Hadith (Raddul Mukhtar, Vol 2, Pg 233-237; Fatwa Tatarkhania, Vol 2, Pg 183). As Du’aa Qunoot is mentioned in Hadith, it would not invalidate your Salah to read it after Tashahhud.
