Question:

I often get the urge to pass wind during Salah however this urge usually lasts less than 5 seconds or so and it is not too distracting. Would I still be required to stop praying and relieve myself in this scenario?

Answer:

It is makrooh to hold on the urge to pass wind or relieve yourself when praying salah, you do not have to stop your salah and relieve yourself but it would be better if you did.
