Question:
Sir, my question is that nowadays peoples make money by giving Islamic or entertainment videos or advertisement on YouTube and other social media platforms.
So is it permissible to make money?
If yes, on which terms?
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Answer:
It is lawful to earn in lieu of a service a person provides. (1)
So it is Halal to earn from YouTube etc. according to the scholars who don’t consider digital pictures Tasweer (Haram images).
However, a person must ensure that the contents are not Haram such as music, spreading wrong information, backbiting, slandering and lying etc. (2)
It is still best to avoid such income as it is debatable.

Only Allah (عز و جل) knows best.
