Question:
السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

I have few questions:

Does typing or pressing the symbol ‘X’ considered typing a kinaya word?

While reading Salah, i pray Surah Al Kawthar, in which in second aayah we have “وَٱنۡحَرۡ” , does saying this count as kinaya?

I searched google and the word means to sacrifice. Is “Sacrifice “ a kinaya word?

I have a ocd problem which i am suffering from 2 to 3 years now. Am i a mazoor in this case? Will having waswas of niyyat or the terms coming in mind as statement of niyyat , while saying these terms consider as niyyat or just waswas?

I am having serious trouble and its effecting my deen and as well as dunya.

Please answer all the above questions.

JazakAllah khair

“Does typing or pressing the symbol ‘X’ considered typing a kinaya word?”

No, it would not be considered as a kinaayah word for talaaq.

No, this doesn’t count as a kinaayah word for talaaq.

With regards to OCD, then the first step is to realise that whatever illness we may get in our life, it comes from Allah Taala and He is the One who can give us cure from it. Even if we were to live our entire life with sickness, then we will submit to the will of Allah Taala as this is the ultimate meaning of being a Muslim.

We need to understand that OCD or wasaawis (i.e., whisperings of shaytan) is a mental state which is made worse by either our own lack of willpower or giving shaytan the upper hand in our affairs. The longer we spend in dirty places or we stay away from the zikr of Allah Taala, then shaytan would have more access to us and our weaknesses. Hence, we must make sure to block shaytan and wasaawis out of our minds and not to pay any attention to the thoughts.

Try to stay in wudhu at all times and make fresh wudhu every time one uses the bathroom. Read Quran and ponder over the meaning, and make abundance of zikr with concentration. Remember that Allah Taala doesn’t burden a soul more than it can take, so have the belief that Allah Taala is testing us and that He will be our helper in all our affairs if we truly turn to Him.

Try to be with pious and righteous brothers as much as possible, and I would even advise to go in the path of Allah Taala with tableeghi brothers and really connect with Allah Taala on a deeper level.

May Allah Taala ease your affairs, aameen.

And only Allah Taala knows best
