Assalamu Alaikum

I am intending to perform Hajj Badal and would like to know whether I can do Hajj Tamattu. If not what should I do as I will be going two weeks before the days of hajj start.

Can you please advise.

Answer:

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته

If the Person you are performing Hajj e Badal for specified the type of Hajj they would like you to perform, it is recommended to perform the specified Hajj.

If the person you are doing Hajj Badal for did not stipulate any specific type of Hajj, then performing Hajj e Tamattu will be permissible for you.

مطلق حج کی اجازت دلالۃ تمتع کی اجازت متصور ہو گی اور حج بدل کرنے والوں کے لۓ تمتع کرنا درست ہوگا۔
