Question:

I entered my finger in wife anus during Ramadan fasting for play, Is our fast valid? No sperm came out during play? I also never knew she fasting as she was on her periods but after play she told she is fasting neither I have knowledge and hukum of putting finger in anus.

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

Being mindful of one’s fast during Ramadhan is of paramount importance. Foreplay without ejaculation or consumption will not invalidate ones fast nor the fast of their partner. Though such acts of foreplay are not forbidden they are discouraged as it’s unnecessary, unclean and of no benefit. This can be understood from the prohibition of penetration through this avenue.

وَإِذَا قَبَّلَ امْرَأَتَهُ، وَأَنْزَلَ فَسَدَ صَوْمُهُ مِنْ غَيْرِ كَفَّارَةٍ كَذَا فِي الْمُحِيطِ. وَكَذَا فِي تَقْبِيلِ الْأَمَةِ وَالْغُلَامِ وَتَقْبِيلِهَا زَوْجَهَا إذَا رَأَتْ بَلَلًا، وَإِنْ وَجَدَتْ لَذَّةً، وَلَمْ تَرَ بَلَلًا فَسَدَ عِنْدَ أَبِي يُوسُفَ – رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى – خِلَافًا لِمُحَمَّدٍ – رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى – كَذَا فِي الزَّاهِدِيِّ.

وَلَوْ قَبَّلَ بَهِيمَةً فَأَنْزَلَ لَا يَفْسُدُ كَذَا فِي الْمُحِيطِ.

وَالْمَسُّ وَالْمُبَاشَرَةُ وَالْمُصَافَحَةُ وَالْمُعَانَقَةُ كَالْقُبْلَةِ، كَذَا فِي الْبَحْرِ الرَّائِقِ
