Question:
I was farting, and then without realising made dua in my head, I thought to myself “oh Allah” but then stopped as I remembered I was passing wind. Was this kufr?
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Answer:
Kufr (apostasy) occurs when a person denies or mocks the religion willingly. If a person has thoughts of disbelief that they decide are true, or they decide to become a disbeliever, then this person would have committed apostasy. Disbelief is not done by mistake, nor is Islam removed by doubt. It is unclear as to why you would think such an act would constitute kufr. Nonetheless, making dua whilst passing wind would not be kufr.
