Question:
If I touch dry madhi is there any chance of it transferring impurity in me? And after touching dry madhi if I touch any kind of things like pen will the impurity transfer on that thing (pen)? And also there wasn't any trace of madhi but I knew it was only madhi…
Answer
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
There are three types of discharges;
- Madhi (pre-coital fluid), is a thin clear liquid which is discharged at the time of arousal without ejaculation. This necessitates Wudu on emission.
- Wadhi is a white cloudy thick fluid which has no smell and is discharged either before or after urinating. This necessitates Wudu on emission.
- Mani (sperm) is a white thick fluid which is discharged at the time of ejaculation. This necessitates Ghusl on emission.
Regarding your question if the Madhi is dry and it is touched with dry hands it doesn’t mean that the impurity has spread to your hands or transferred.
Abu huraira narrated that the Prophet came across me in one of the streets of Medina and at the time I was Junub (impure). So I slipped away from him and went to take a bath. On my return the Prophet said, “O Abu Huraira! Where have you been?” I replied, “I was Junub (impure), so I disliked to sit in your company.” The Prophet said, “Subhana’Allah! A believer never becomes impure.”
