Please help me i am in deep pain.

Actually I was moving from my old apartment to new apartment. I moved everything but forgot two Qurans on the shelf. When my wife made me remember I ran back and asked the landlord that during cleaning did he see the Quran. He said may be the cleaning guys threw them in the garbage, Naoozubillah ( May Allah Forgive me for).
Please brother can you tell me how can I ask forgiveness from Allah and repent in any form.

Answer

You should repent for what happened and make a firm intention of not being careless and leaving the Holy Qur’an behind in places or situations where there may be a grave danger of it being disrespected.

It will be good to give sadqah for what happened. (Aapke-Masaail p.235 v. 3)
