How to convince my mom, please help me, she is a good girl, very Islamic and goes to Madrassa for hifz.
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Answer
Marriage in Islam is a lifelong commitment, every individual should look for a spouse who is pious and with which whom one is compatible. Therefore, when one considers a prospective spouse, he should adopt the correct means to find out about the person.
He should make istikhara in the process to seek goodness from Allah Ta’ala in the decision one is making.
If one feels content with going ahead with a prospective spouse, with utmost respect and politeness he should explain to his mother his decision or request his father to speak to his mother.
Only Allah Ta’ala knows best
