Question:
Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah
My hairdresser used a brush to dry my wet hair and said it was a synthetic hair.
I double-checked by ringing the company after to check if it was synthetic (a week later as I had doubts) and that company said they only sell 100% pure boar hair brushes.
A week has passed and I washed my hair after a week (to allow my toner to set and colour) does this now mean I have to make up 7 missed fasts of Ramadan? And what about I prays and the Quran I read? (based on the fact that I was lied to).

Answer:
Assalamualaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakaatuh
The hair of boar and pig is najis (impure). If someone were to pray with pig hair more than the amount of a dirham, their salah would not acceptable. If pig hair were to fall into a small quantity of water, it would render it impure.[1]
In your case, the hair was not physically on you. However, because your hair was wet which caused the boar hair brush to become wet as well, you are encouraged to repeat your salah and al other ibadat. You are not sinful due to the misunderstanding that you faced.
