Question:

Can a mutakif leaving the masjid to make wudhu for tilawat?

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

If a mutakif needs to perform wudu then it would be permissible for him to leave the masjid for that reason after he is done he should not stay there rather he should come back to his i’tikaf area.

(الخروج إلا لحاجة الإنسان) ولا يمكث بعد فراغه من الطهور ولا يلزمه أن يأتي بيت صديقه القريب.
