Question:

Can married women ride horses

Answer:

It is disliked for women to ride horses whether they are married or not as there is a danger that they may fulfil their lust due to them being on top of the horse.

Furthermore, women would have to wear tight-fitting clothing which reveals their body and shape.

In a nutshell it will not be permissible for women to ride horses except at the time of necessity. (Bahrur Raiq p.189 v.8 & Raddul Muhtar p.423 v.6)
