What is the ray’ of Mufti Saabs about someone attending a court marriage ceremony for his Christian co-worker?

Answer:
Attending a court marriage ceremony for a Christian co-worker is permissible as there is no religious connotation. One should avoid attending such a gathering if there will be things that will go against Islamic Values such as music and free mixing between men and women.1
