Question:
Can you explain this hadith from Sunan Ibn Majah, please?
حَدَّثَنَا جُبَارَةُ بْنُ الْمُغَلِّسِ، حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ وَسِيمٍ الْجَمَّالُ، حَدَّثَنِي الْحَسَنُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ، فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ الْحُسَيْنِ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ أُمِّهِ، فَاطِمَةَ ابْنَةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ “ أَلاَ لاَ يَلُومَنَّ امْرُؤٌ إِلاَّ نَفْسَهُ يَبِيتُ وَفِي يَدِهِ رِيحُ غَمَرٍ ” .
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), said: “The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: ‘A man has no one to blame but himself if he goes to bed with a smell emanating from his hand.’”

Answer:
The Hadith you are referring to is Hadith number 3296.
This is the following Hadith which is also in the same chapter.
Prophet ﷺ said: “If anyone of you goes to bed with a smell emanating from his hand, and he does not wash his hand, and something happens to him, he should not blame anyone but himself.” [Hadith 3297] [1]
Under the explanation of these Hadith, Allāmah Fakhr Al-Hassan al-Gangohi explains: it refers to the fat and the fatness of meat. Caution is given against something happening to him at night due to vermin and poisonous creatures being drawn to him while he is sleeping because of the smell of the food on his hand.

[1]حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ أَبِي الشَّوَارِبِ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ الْمُخْتَارِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُهَيْلُ بْنُ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ـ صلى الله عليه وسلم ـ قَالَ “ إِذَا نَامَ أَحَدُكُمْ وَفِي يَدِهِ رِيحُ غَمَرٍ فَلَمْ يَغْسِلْ يَدَهُ فَأَصَابَهُ شَىْءٌ فَلاَ يَلُومَنَّ إِلاَّ نَفْسَهُ
[2]فخر الحسن الكنكوهي: قوله: وفي يده ريح غمر: (الغمر) بالتحريك: الدسم والزهومة من اللحم. (الإنجاح) قوله: فأصابه شيئ: أي إيذاء من هوام وذوات السموم في النوام لرائحة الطعام في يده.
