Question

In Islam, can you give the interest you earn on money to the poor?

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

In Islam you cannot give the interest you earn on money to the poor with the intention of attaining any reward, as interest is Haram.

However, it can be given to the poor without the intention of gaining any reward.[1]
