Question:

I watched an indecent scene of a movie and a liquid came out without gushing. What is the liquid.  While researching mani and Mazi after again a liquid came out. I don't remember its characteristics.  What is the liquid

Answer

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

In regards to your query and question;

There are 3 types of liquid:

Maniyy: it is a thick white fluid emitted by the male or female as the result of sexual ejaculation. Some scholars define Maniyy as the thick spurting water discharge through orgasm. When the above characteristics are not present Ghusl (a ritual bath) is not compulsory for ritual purity. Another case where Ghusl is not compulsory is when the sperm is discharged due to illness or extreme cold or the like.

Mathy: it is a thin white sticky fluid which is discharged due to sexual stimulation, e.g. thinking about sexual acts, or kissing or the like. One is usually unaware of exactly when it is discharged. It emits from both the male and female. Muslim scholars unanimously agree that

Mathy is impure.

Wady: it is a thick white fluid that comes after urinating. It is also considered impure.

Therefore, if the liquid that has come out without gushing will be called ‘Mathy or Mazi’ (Different spelling). The ruling about such liquid is:

“The liquid which comes out after watching any illicit material is called madhi, thus, ghusl will not be necessary, but your wudhu will break.”(Raddul Muhtar p.300 v.1)

Only Allah knows best.
