Question

If a person waxes her body or tweezes hair from the root. Does she have to repeat her wudu i.e. does her wudu break?

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

The things that invalidate ablution are:

Everything that comes out of the two passages ( the front and the back passages), blood, pus, and pus if it comes out of the body, then passes to a place that is attached to the rule of purification.

And vomiting breaks wudu if it is a mouthful and sleeping lying down or reclining or relying on something, if removed from it, he would fall and fainting to prevail upon the mind by, and insanity and laughing in every Salah of Ruku (kneeling) and Sajdah (prostrating). [1]

In the aforementioned case, if a person waxes her body or tweezes hair, it does not break wudu.

However, if blood comes out and then moves from its place after waxing or tweezing, then it will invalidate wudu.[2]
