Question:
Is there any evidence from Abu Hanifa, Abu Yusuf and Muhammad that any delaying offering Sunnah muakkadah after Fard diminishes the reward for this Sunnah muakkadah?
I am interested in only the opinions of the first three Hanafi scholars.
Many contemporary scholars say that Abu Hanifa prohibited taqleed. They refer to his words. No one is allowed to take my words without knowing my evidence! “What does it mean?

Answer:
Your question has two parts: –
- Delaying Sunnah Muakkada:-
It is considered makruh (disliked) to engage in worldly conversations between the Sunnah muakkada and the obligatory fard prayers.
If there is a need for important conversation, it is permissible, but unnecessary talk is discouraged. This emphasis is on preserving the atmosphere of worship and maintaining continuity between the prayers.
Imam Abu Hanifa, Imam Abu Yusuf and Imam Muhammad emphasized performing sunnah prayers in their designated times and sequences to preserve the routine and structure of worship, which reflects good discipline and attentiveness in one’s prayer. They did not explicitly state that delaying Sunnah Mu’akkadah diminishes its reward, especially if the delay is slight and unintentional.
- Taqleed: –
The statement of Imam Abu Hanifa about not following his opinions blindly without evidence is mentioned in the book “Al intiqa”. It states that Imam Abu Hanifa said it is not permissible for someone to issue a fatwa from his books without knowing where Imam Abu Hanifa took it from.
The meaning of this statement is that Imam Abu Hanifa encouraged understanding the reasoning behind rulings for those capable of understanding Islamic law (fiqh) deeply, understanding the reasoning behind rulings and not just following without comprehension.
Hope this answers the question.
Only Allah knows best.

يُكْرَهُ الْكَلاَمُ بَيْنَ السُّنَّةِ وَالْفَرْضِ إِلَّا لِحَاجَةٍ.
It is disliked engaging in conversation between the Sunnah and Fard prayers unless there is a necessity.

There is no harm in talking between the Sunnah and Fard prayers if it is something necessary.
