Question:

Does dental numbing (injections) break one fast?

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

It is permissible for a fasting person to take medicine by injection. [1]

Dental numbing injections fall under the same rule as other injections because nothing of it reaches the throat.
