Question: 

Asalaamu alaykum mashayikh, I’ve noticed some masaajid do their jumu’ah collection between the 2 khutbahs. Whats the verdict on that? 

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful 

Answer 

Waaliakum salaam wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhu

It is not proper to engage in any activity after the second azaan has been called on the day of jummah therefore collection of funds at the above-mentioned time should be avoided, if the masjid is in financial strains they should seek out alternate measures for acquiring funds 

And Allah Ta allah knows best.
