Question:
A few years ago whilst washing, I would feel like the water would splash onto other parts of my body ( I’m not sure whether these splashes mixed with the impurity or not ). I would then touch the fridge and freezer and other things
Now I’m doubting that everything I touch is najis and all my prayers are not valid
Is this the case or is everything pure?

Answer:
As salaam alaykum,
If you are unsure whether the water splashes were mixed with impurity, the default ruling in Hanafi Fiqh is that purity will remain unless there is certainty of impurity. Doubts alone do not make anything impure. The water that splashed on your body is pure unless you are sure it carries any impurity. The fridge, freezer, and anything else you touched remains pure unless there is visible impurity on them.
Your prayers are valid, and there is no need to repeat them. Try to avoid acting on doubts, as this leads to unnecessary hardship for you.
Only Allah knows best.
