Question:

Assalamu'alailum, if a person ejaculates (due to for e.g. Fantasizing or watching inappropriate material) without masturbating or intercourse whilst fasting, does the fast break?

Answer:

Bismillah

In the name of Allah, the most Beneficent, the most Merciful.

First and foremost you should try and refrain from watching movies or programmes on the television which may be of an illicit and sexual nature.

Saaiduna Abu Hurairah raḍyAllāhu 'anhu (may Allāh be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet of Allah ṣallallāhu 'alayhi wa sallam (peace and blessings of Allāh be upon him) said, “Allah has written the very portion of zina which a man may indulge in. There will be no escape from it.  The zina of the eye is the lustful look, the zina of the ears is the listening, the zina of the tongue is the speech, the zina of the hand is the grip, the zina of the feet is the walking (to the place to commit zina), the heart yearns and desires and the private parts approve all that or disprove it.” (Sahih Bukhari)

The liquid which comes out (without forcing it out i.e. through masturbation) after watching any illicit material is called madhi, thus, ghusl will not be necessary, but your wudhu will break. (Raddul Muhtar p.300 v.1)

If mani (a thick discharge) came out then ghusl will be obligatory. The ruling is the same for both married and unmarried women. (Ibid)

Regarding your question, if semen came out whilst fantasizing or viewing an illicit movie then the Fast would not break. Obviously, if no semen came out, the fast will not break. (Fatawa Hindiyyah p.203 v.1) However, ones fast will break and qadha but no kaffarah (expiation) will be obligatory if he forced the semen out by way of masturbation. (Fatawa Darul Uloom Deoband p.417 v.6)
