Question:
What should a person do if he forgets how many sujoods he performed in the rakat. This is a persistent thing for me. I regularly forget if I performed one sujood or two. It may not occur at least once in 3 prayers and sometimes it occurs under this time period. So what should I do? And what if the doubt is not strong? And the same thing happens to me during the takbeer before Due e qunoot. I often forget if I did it or not. What to do in these cases. Please note that even though these things are persistent, they may not occur once every 3 prayers and sometimes they do.

Answer:
When doubt occurs this frequently whilst performing salah, you should base your decision on your predominant belief i.e to choose what you most probably think it is.
If there is still doubt whether you have performed one or two sajdah, then continue with what is the minimum i.e if you are unsure whether there were one or two sajdah performed, then act as if you have performed only one and then perform another sajdah.
You will have to perform sajdah sahw (prostration of forgetfulness) in this case.
Pertaining to tabkeer qunoot, if this was missed out you will also have to perform sajdah sahw also.
Only Allah knows best.
