Question:
If one masturbates twice without making ghusl the first time, would he need to perform ghusl twice or does he need to do it once.

Answer:
Masturbation is considered strictly impermissible in Islam according to the majority of scholars. Engaging in such actions requires one to perform ghusl to return to a state of ritual purity.
If one masturbates twice without making ghusl the first time, a single ghusl (ritual purification) is sufficient to purify oneself. There is no need to perform ghusl twice. The purpose of ghusl in this context is to achieve a state of ritual purity, and performing it once will suffice regardless of the number of times the state of impurity was entered into before performing ghusl.
It is essential to seek forgiveness from Allah and strive to avoid masturbation.

(قَوْلُهُ: وَالْمَعَانِي الْمُوجِبَةُ لِلْغُسْلِ إنْزَالُ الْمَنِيِّ عَلَى وَجْهِ الدَّفْقِ وَالشَّهْوَةِ إلَى آخِرِهِ) هَذِهِ الْمَعَانِي مُوجِبَةٌ لِلْجَنَابَةِ لَا لِلْغُسْلِ عَلَى الصَّحِيحِ؛ لِأَنَّهَا تَنْقُضُهُ فَكَيْفَ تُوجِبُهُ وَإِنَّمَا سَبَبُ وُجُوبِ الْغُسْلِ إرَادَةُ الصَّلَاةِ أَوْ إرَادَةُ مَا لَا يَحِلُّ فِعْلُهُ مَعَ الْجَنَابَةِ، وَأَمَّا هَذِهِ الَّتِي ذَكَرَهَا الشَّيْخُ فَشُرُوطٌ وَلَيْسَتْ بِأَسْبَابٍ وَالْمَنِيُّ خَاثِرٌ أَبْيَضُ يَنْكَسِرُ مِنْهُ الذَّكَرُ عِنْدَ خُرُوجِهِ وَيُخْلَقُ مِنْهُ الْوَلَدُ وَرَائِحَتُهُ عِنْدَ خُرُوجِهِ كَرَائِحَةِ الطَّلْعِ وَعِنْدَ يُبْسِهِ كَرَائِحَةِ الْبَيْضِ.
