Question

How do I change my haram relationship into halal?

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

You first need to ask for sincere repentance from Allah with a pure intention of not committing the sin again.

Secondly, you need to get married.  By getting married a person can, with the help of Allah, overcome many of the traps of evil.

Marriage helps one to lower his gaze and guard his chastity, as the Prophet said in the hadeeth,

It was narrated that ‘Abdullah said: “The Messenger of Allah said to us: ‘O young men, whoever among you can afford it, let him get married, for it is more effective in lowering the gaze and guarding chastity. [i]

Lastly, be in the company of pious people as it will get you close to Allah and will make you understand the beauty of Islam.
