How many people required for a Jamat

In the name of Allah, the most Beneficent, the most Merciful.

Answer

One person along with the Imam is sufficient to constitute a Jamat irrespective whether the person participating is a women, child etc…  (Raddul Muhtar p.289 v.2)

With regards to the Jummah Salah there has to be a minimum of three people besides the Imam. The presence of females or minors only is not enough.   (Raddul Muhtar p.24 v.3)
