Question:
I have receeding gums and my gums bleed i have tried many remedies but none have been effective. When i do wudu and gargle water gums bleed most of the time if i spit i can see blood then i have to wait and repeat wudu in a few minutes, sometimes bleeding stops but i can taste blood and doubtful if wudu is valid or not. I am doing wudu for every salat

Answer:
If the bleeding only occurs due to the gargling, and the gums do not bleed when left alone, then one should keep in mind that gargling is not strictly a necessity in wudhu and so can be left if one is truly unable to do so. One should gently slide water into the mouth and let it drain out, or refrain from gargling entirely if it aggravates your condition.
If the bleeding occurs continuously, regardless of gargling, one should see if the bleeding continues throughout one salah time to the extent that one cannot perform the fardh of salah without being interrupted by the bleeding. If this happens throughout any one salah time, then one should perform wudhu and the fardh of salah at the last possible time, ignoring the bleeding of the gums, and then from that moment consider themselves ma’zur. The wudhu of the who is ma’zur due to a cause such as bleeding gums does not break due to that cause occuring. However, they must do wudhu for each salah time, and their wudhu would break when each salah time ends. Such a person would continue to be considered ma’zur until an entire salah time passes without the cause occurring even once.
