Question:

If the husband did Qurbani on behalf of the wife without getting verbal consent from her, will it be valid? He didn’t ask her because he knows that she would be okay with it.

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيْم

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

It is the duty of your wife that she ensures that her Qurbani is made. However, if your wife gives you direct or indirect permission known in Arabic as dalalatan, then it will be permissible for you to do her Qurbani. (Imdadul Fatawa p.610 v.3)
