Question

If the Musalli lifts his feet off the ground while in Sajdah, then what is the condition of his Salaah?

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

If a Musalli lifts off both his feet for the entire duration of the Sajdah then the Sajdah will not be valid. Hence the prayer itself will not be valid. It is fard to have at least one toe on the ground for even a moment in the duration of the Sajdah (Ibn Abideen, Radd al-Muhtar, vol. 3, pg. 325-330; Fatawa Darul Uloom Deoband, vol. 4, pg. 48).
