Question:

If an individual has gold lesser than the gold Nisaab but more than silver Nisaab, no other Zakatable assets should he pay Zakaat on the gold  

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

Zakat is not compulsory for an individual who has only gold until it reaches the gold Nisaab (Badai Al Sanai, Vol 2, Pg 421)

أما إذا كان له ذهب مفرد فلا شيء فيه حتى يبلغ عشرين مثقالا
