Question:

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah

If the goat has damage on the head would it be ok for Qurbani?

Answer:

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

Assalamualaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakaatuh

Allah Taala says in the Quran: O you who have believed, spend from the good things which you have earned and from that which We have produced for you from the earth. And do not aim toward the defective therefrom, spending [from that] while you would not take it [yourself] except with closed eyes. And know that Allah is Free of need and Praiseworthy. (Surah Baqarah v.267)

If “horn“ is meant rather than head then the rulings are as following:

If the sheep don’t have horns since birth or if one of it's horn is slightly damaged then it is permissible, but if the horn is broken from its root then it is not permissible to sacrifice. (Raddul Muhtar 9/467  Daru Alim-il Al-kutub)

Only Allah knows best.
