Question:
If someone covers a wound with a bandaid/plaster Then apparently the blood has stopped. But a few hours later, he checks it and there is blood on the bandaid, what happens to the salah he performed with the bandaid on
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Answer:
When blood appears on the surface of a cut/wound, it does not break Wudhu. Wudhu only breaks when the blood flows/moves from the surface of the wound (Fatawa Hindiyya, Vol 1, Pg 12-13). When using a plaster, the blood that appeared likely transferred from the surface of the wound without spreading. Therefore, it would not break Wudhu. Also, if the blood had spread, a person likely would not know whether it occurred before or after Salaah, so this uncertainty will be disregarded to avoid difficulty.
Therefore, the Salaah will be valid and will not need to be repeated.
