One of my friends dad passed away and they want to divide the inheritance between them the dad have
3 Sons
2 Daughters
and
1 Son from divorced wife who left the son with her husband and left forever
The dad have properties worth of
80 Hundred Thousand Rupees
and 4 Hundred Thousand Rupees
so please could you please explain the dividing of this on the number of people mentioned on top.

Answer

The total asset of the deceased will be distributed in the following way:

4 SONS                             (10)                             2 DAUGHTERS

2,400 rupees each                                             1,200 rupees each

The deceased property will be distributed into 10 shares. The sons will each receive two shares with each of the daughters receiving one share. Thus, the each of the sons will receive 2,400 rupees each whilst the daughter will each receive 1,200 rupees.
