Question

Is it haram to read hadiths when menstruating?

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيْم

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

It is not haram to read Hadith when menstruating. The prohibition is only for reading the Quran. But it is recommended to read Hadith in a state of ghusl and wudu. [Radd Al-Muhtar, Dar al-Fikr, 1/293]
