Question:

Is it makrooh tahreeman to pray without topi?

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

It would be Makrooh Tahriman (prohibitively disliked) to pray without a head covering if one does so intentionally, disregarding the sunnah. If one forgets, or there is no head covering available, then it would be Makrooh Tanzihan (mildly disliked).
