Question:
Is it okay to pray wearing an ID badge that has your picture on it?
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Answer:
It is Makrooh to wear anything during prayer that has a picture of an animate object.1 Thus the ID badge should be removed, placed in one’s pocket, or covered before starting the prayer.
