Question:

Is it permissible to buy from a seller using Shopify if they do not drop ship? As in if the items they sell are in their possession, in their warehouse?

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

Selling items in one’s possession and ownership is a condition of sale in Islam and therefore a legitimate form of selling. It would be permissible to buy from these stores that do not drop-ship their products, so long as no other factors which are impermissible in the rulings of sale are occurring in the transaction.
