Question:

Is smoking shisha haram?

Answer:

In The Name Of Allah, The Most-Merciful, The Most Kind

In principle, shisha that contains no intoxicants will be considered makrooh and should be refrained from. However, if there is an intoxicant it will become completely haram.

Note that shisha in many cases brings haram environments, such as gender mixing, music, and the company of the impious, this will greatly affect the ruling and thus shisha should be refrained from.
