Question:

Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah

Is there a difference in the rule of istehaza and mazoor? If someone is istehaza, do they have to bleed for full namaz time to be excused from repeating wudhu or are they ok to just read?

Answer:

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.

The rulings of istihaza and mazoor are same. (1)

Firstly, a mustahaza person has to bleed for a full Fard Salah time where she can not find a time to pray. After this, bleeding should appear at least once during the rest of the prayer times for her to still be considered mustahaza. (2)

Only Allah knows best.
