Question:

Spending on your family, buying big-ticket items ie: cars or home, etc. in the blessed month of Ramadan? Is there any evidence from the Quran or sunnah of Nabi (ﷺ) says, there’s No Hisab (account) if spent in Ramadan?

May Allah SWT continue to bless our respected scholars / Ulama, in abundance and shower his incredible mercy upon them & their families.

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

If these items are purchased with the correct intention e.g. they will be used for the pleasure of Allah Ta’ala and in his obedience this will be a virtuous deed and the reward will be multiplied in Ramadan.

Salman Al Farsi R.A. from The Prophet P.B.U.H “Whosoever wants to be close to Allah Ta’ala by doing any good deed, for such person shall be the reward like the one who had performed a fard in any other time and whoever performs a fardh, shall be given the reward of seventy faraaidh in any other time.”1

Having said that there is no explicit evidence from the Quran or sunnah of Nabi (ﷺ) that says, there’s No Hisab (account) if spent in Ramadan.
