Question:

Is there any prayer/dua that I might read in order to fulfill a wish?

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيْم

In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Answer:

One should recite the following Du'a:

Abu Dardaa (May Allah Ta'ala be pleased with him) narrated from Nabi sallallahu alaihi wasallam that, "Whosoever recites in the morning and in the evening seven times (Below mentioned Du'a) Allah will be sufficient for him against anything which grieves him from the matters of this world and next." (Allah Ta'ala will grant him whatever he desires from this world or the next). {1}

حَسْبِـيَ اللّهُ لا إلهَ إلاّ هُوَ عَلَـيهِ تَوَكَّـلتُ وَهُوَ رَبُّ

العَرْشِ العَظـيم

TRANSLITERATION:

Hasbiyallaahu laa 'ilaaha 'illaa Huwa 'alayhi tawakkaltu wa Huwa

Rabbul-'Arshil-'Adheem. {2}

Translation: Allah is sufficient for me. There is none worthy of worship but Him. I have placed my trust in Him, He is Lord of the Majestic Throne.

The author said, "I found this Du'a extremely impactful, I have recited this Du'a for fulfilling a few of my needs and I was successful in it by the grace of Allah Ta'ala. {3}

In conclusion, you may recite the aforementioned Du'a seven times.
