Answer:

Vaping is the use of e-cigarettes. Dr. Dhillon says, “E-cigarettes are a battery-powered smoking device that can be used for nicotine or marijuana”. E-cigarettes work by heating up a liquid, which is placed in it, and this liquid becomes a vapor or aerosol. It is inhaled into the lungs. The liquid can contain nicotine, tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), cannabinoid (CBD) oils, flavoring agents, and multiple other chemicals. Some of the health effects of vaping are cancer, lung failure, and brain damage. In addition to these health effects, vaping is highly addictive. Just like regular cigarettes, vaping liquid typically has a high concentration of nicotine, which is very addictive. [1]

Allah (swt) says in the Holy Quran, “And make not your own hands contribute to (your) destruction.” (Surah al-Baqarah, verse 195)

In another verse in the Holy Quran, Allah (swt) says, “And do not kill yourself.” (Surah al-Nisa, verse 29)

Vaping is detrimental and poisonous to health and is tantamount to slowly killing yourself. Therefore, it would not be permissible to vape with liquids that contain harmful substances.
